Congress Assembly victory was due to BRS misrule & KCR’s anti people policies, Lok Sabha elections are a different ball game: Konda Vishweshwar Reddy

Hyderabad, April 15th, 2024: The Praja Ashirwada Yatra I embarked upon exceeded all expectations, emerging as a remarkable triumph. My intention was to garner the blessings of the people of Chevella before filing my nomination. However, the reception I received surpassed mere enthusiasm; it resounded with overwhelming support. Women and youth, in particular, wholeheartedly rallied behind me, turning out in substantial numbers at every stop along the journey, said Chevella Parliamentary constituency BJP candidate, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, while addressing a gathering of people in Kandukuru mandal in Maheshwaram. During the Yatra, we witnessed a remarkable influx of support as thousands joined the BJP ranks. Encouraged by the immense affection and support bestowed upon me throughout the journey, I am resolutely optimistic about securing victory with a resounding majority, surpassing three lakhs, he said.

The Congress party is conspicuously devoid of public support within the state. Resorting to baseless tactics, it unfairly capitalized by spreading unfounded rumours of collusion between the BJP and BRS during the last Assembly elections. This desperate ploy underscores their lack of genuine substance and integrity. Their victory in the past was largely attributed to the misrule of the BRS family and the detrimental policies implemented by KCR, which significantly alienated the public. However, it’s essential to recognize that the dynamics shift during Lok Sabha elections. Past grievances hold less sway as the focus shifts to broader national issues during parliamentary elections. Encouragingly, grassroots leaders from both the Congress and BRS are now throwing their support behind my candidacy for the forthcoming elections, he said.

Chevella Congress candidate Ranjith Reddy has a history of harassing Congress leaders and party worker during his stint with BRS. This animosity has led to a lack of trust and cooperation from within the party in the constituency for Ranjit Reddy, impacting his ability to garner votes. Fearing the potential loss of the seat, he has resorted to desperate measures, attempting to secure votes based solely on community and caste affiliations, Vishweshwar Reddy said.
